How to Calculate Ad Ranking in Adwords


Ad ranking in Google Adwords is calculated by multiplying the maximum CPC by the quality level of the keyword that has activated the ad. The ads then will be shown in a decreasing order, by their respective rankings: the ad with the higher ranking will be first, and so on. This is the formula to calculate ad ranking:

Ranking = Maximum CPC x Quality Level
