How to Calculate CTR (Click-Through Rate)

Click-through Rate (CTR) is calculated dividing clicks by impressions, or dividing CPM by 1000, and then dividing its result by CPC. This is the formula to calculate CTR:

CTR = Clicks
Impressions
CTR = CPM / 1000
CPC

Example for calculating CTR

If impressions are 10.000 and clicks are 3.000, CTR is calculated like this:

CTR = 3.000
10.000
CTR = 0,3 (30%)
If CPM is 4€ and CPC is 0,10€, CTR is calculated like this:

CTR = 4€ / 1000
0,10€
CTR = 0,04 (4%)
