How to Calculate CPS (Cost per Sale)

CPS (Cost per Sale) is calculated dividing cost by number of salesm or dividing cost per click (CPC) by conversion rate. This is the formula to calculate CPS:

CPS = Cost
Sales
CPS = CPC
Conversion Rate

Example of CPS calculation

If the campaign cost is 1.300€ and 20 sales were obtained, then CPS is calculated like this:

CPS = 1.300€
20
CPS = 65€

If CPC is 0,35€ and conversion rate is 7% (0,07), then CPS is calculated like this:

CPS = 0,35€
0,07
CPS = 5€
